Looking back on the

Fifth Socratic Simposium

November 7, Florence, Italy

Dear Colleagues,

Many thanks - as ever, for your inspiration. The Socrates day of the Florence workshop worked way beyond my expectation.  Kieran, Kieran Bonner and Arpad raised the level and gave us something to use and aim for the planned Plato/Socrates collections. I wish I could have listened you more, but time did not allow - and I was rewarded by a couple of unexpected finds. Jason was quite outstanding and is clearly engaged in a large and important project.  Let's keep in touch. Of course, an event like this always produce something special and unexpected, Tom rose to the occasion fantastically well - yet more new insights, and such energy.  The whole day worked - new things emerged and combined -thanks to Bjorn, Harald, Lionel. The night in our Hobbit place continued with reading Plato with interesting notes from Paolo, Daniel and Julian. I was very excited by the whole atmosphere. Kieran B. and Jason please do not forget to send your papers to this address.

Best wishes,
Agnes
